Cathy spent three years studying art at school, followed by a further two years at night school.

Cathy's work has been successfully exhibited throughout New Zealand and internationally.

In 1991 New Zealand forest Products accepted Cathy's painting 'From here to eternity: for their 1992 calendar, which was distributed to local and international clients.

Cathy spends a great deal of time travelling to Tuscany, her works are mainly painted in acrylics creating vibrant scenes of poppy fields and reflecting the Tuscan countryside.
