Merrilyn is one of New Zealand's finest Wildlife Artists. She has become particularly well known for current and sold out Limited Edition prints. Twenty four Editions have currently sold out. Many of her originals have found their way into prestigious collections all over the world.
The World Wildlife Fund commissioned Jaquiery to paint the endangered Ground Parrot "Kakapo", and her chick. Funds raised from prints were used to erect a hut on Stewart Island. The painting 'Kakapo' now hangs in the collection of H.R.H. Prince Phillip: The Duke of Edinburgh. She was later made the first life member of the New Zealand branch of the World Wildlife Fund.
